  • Q. Can the Netech upgrade my PC Hardware?

    Absolutely, depending on the age of the Windows-based PC, NETECH has a variety of upgrade options avaliable for your computer. Some computers may still be under a manufacturer warranty, or conversely are too old for a viable upgrade so the best way of checking upgrade viability is to contact us for a consultation.

  • Q. Does my warranty cover accidental/water damage?

    Your PC manufacturers' warranty does not cover accidental or water damage as these are not considered to be caused by the manufactuer. If your new computer is accidentally damaged by a user, or is damaged by water then your warranty if voided and invalid. Should this happen, NETECH will provide paid assistance for data recovery, hardware replacement or through a disaster recovery plan. Please contact us for a consultation and cost estimate.

  • Q. Do you fix Apple Hardware or Software?

    NETECH specialises in all hardware and software repairs and deployments designed for the Microsoft Windows platform, as this is what the vast majority of small businesses utilise for their day-to-day operations. As a result, NETECH does not offer support for Apple Mac hardware, software or Apple mobile and tablet platforms. Please contact Apple for all hardware or software enquiries for their platform.

  • Q. How long will my repair take?

    Generally diagnostics are done within 1 day and most repairs are completed within 3 days. Some repairs can be done sooner, or may take longer depending on parts availability, the scope of the problem or other unforeseen issues. We will always keep you up-to-date on the progress of your repair.

  • Q. I have sourced my own part or software package and would like to have you install it, is this possible?

    Yes, but you will be charged upfront for labour and we take no responsibility for the quality of the part or software package. If for some reason the part is faulty and would like us then to uninstall the part, additional charges may apply. The safest option for all hardware or software installations is to make contact with NETECH for advice and deployment/installation.

  • Q. How quickly will you have a technician physically dispatched to my location?

    Technology has rapidly evolved in recent years, and as a result it is not always necessary for a technician to be physically present to address issues with computer systems. NETECH is committed to the fastest and highest quality responses to all logged problems on our support platform. Where it is unnecessary for a technician to be present, you can expect a resolution within the hour if you subscribe to our managed IT services or hours if you want to continue to use the traditional 'break-fix' model. If a technician is required, they will confirm a time and will usually be present on the same day. Please contact us for more information.
